Aranor is also joining, and has been allocated Hex 5 through random die roll. Of the NPCs, Adelaide has pulled out, and Azar has taken her place.

Is there any chance of randomly re-allocating the total points of my hex? With 1 wealth, I just don't even see it as worth holding.

If I dropped merchant connections, I'd just stop playing. It's only feasible to play with the wealth boosting traits that I have. 1 wealth simply isn't enough with the costs of upgrades and the apparent flow of the game based on mechanics alone. The hex has a total point value of 8, which is average... I just ask that it be rerolled. But if that's a problem...

There's always the bureaucrat quirk, and then the council to request merchant connections to be shared. (which is an easier IC request than the bureaucrat quirk)

Wait, that mixes quirks with traits... hmm.

But don't worry, I'm just messing with you. If it bothers you that much I'll give my support.

Or, knock the whole hex down a peg to balance with being able to have the request granted.

Take 3 of the 7 manpower, and give 2 wealth in exchange. It changes the hex to 3 wealth and 4 manpower.

You could also lend the money until you have conquered another Hex...the Vealdis Bank will be happy to pay for your war efforts, under conditions ofcourse.

He has the right idea. 1 wealth isn't very good, but work with the tools you've been given. Political Maneuvring can make up for any shortcomings.

The trouble comes from 'conquering' another hex. We haven't yet decided on how we'll limit that... but we did agree that we won't be gaining extra hexes anytime soon.

Though time itself does present room for further opportunities. Perhaps you should let things play out to begin with. If it seems, with time, that you're truly are getting the shaft, then raise the point again.
