NPC Counts

Azar Zahr Bey (Countess) (Created Title, Martial, Born to Command)
Azar Zahr was once virtually deified by the D'Shar chieftains as one of their rising stars, however the misogynist D'Shar culture acted against her when the men began to feel threatened. She is the youngest daughter of one of the many minor chiefs, but she rose to prominence during the Spice Wars earning a name for herself with her privateering actions against the Holmgang League by taking a significant number of their cargo ships. Her real moment of fame however came during a particularly devastating raid on the port of Nal Tar, which would have been burned to the ground had it not been for her strategic genius, and her personally leading a daring naval sally against the flagship of the League which ended up with the capture of the vessel and the attacking admiral. She has since been chased out to the Eastern Steppe by jealous lords, and looks to earn her way through the ranks once again, and prove her worth to Pendor beyond a shadow of any doubt.

Comte Hernando de la Baldomero-Epifanio (Ancient Claim, Charismatic, Born to Command)
Scion to the ancient Baldomer line, Hernando is the latest in a long line of Barcaly nobility trying to claim ancient rights in a foreign land. Although Hernando speaks virtually no Pendorian, and instead must act through an interpreter, this young lord is nevertheless able to inspire his soldiers to great and heroic acts, something that become something of a legend during his brief career as a Conquistadore. Most of his exploits however were in Amala, so his legend goes untold in Pendor, and he must begin from virtually scratch in trying to restore his lineage to these shores.

Countess Eadbuga Wilburgh (???, ???, ???)
The very definition of reclusive, Eadbuga is the widow of Cenric Wilburgh, the infamous steward of the Silvermist Goldmines. Throughout her life, she has shown no interest in the politics of her husband, and was able to pull on unknown strings to maintain her position after his death. So long as the wagons of gold continue to trundle to the Royal Mint, the King seems to pay little mind to what goes on at the mine.

Countess Adelaide Leyland (Bought Title, Martial, Merchant Connections)
The Leyland Family are a dynasty renowned for their financial genius (and backing!) from within the Holmgang League. Business following the Noble Wars has remained as cuthroat as ever, and the Leylands have capitalised on the disruption to the Eastern Pendor Trading Company by attempting to create their own outpost in the home region of their competitors, spearheaded by one of the tougher daughters of the Fierdsvain merchant families.
